The Data Dump Raw & Uncut (c) Brett Paufler As immediately follows is the original data format for a html page and then a data-equivalent translations.
  • Raw & Unworked
  • --- Raw & Unworked I anticipate .txt files will be the primary data type. To save time, I doubt I will edit many of them more than once. In many ways, this implies a certain degree of abandonment... A leaving unfinished. --- In this spur, I will not bother to transform encodings or back out mark ups. I mean, that's not clear. So, let me try again. In many cases (or so, I assume), the raw data coming into this spur will have been intended for other projects; and as such, may be formatted per my original conceptions. # # # Heading: Sentence Title: Remark Heading Sentence Title Remark # # # First... second; third... fourth; Fifth... Sixth; auto cap first... end ellipses; First Second Third Fourth Fifth Sixth Auto cap first End... # # # They are just examples. But if you start seeing words and sentences organized in weird (non-standard) ways, I'm not going to decode it. And it will (often) be safe to assume that it's my personal mark-up. I will, however, extract text from any .eml file, as let's keep that meta-data secret. Anyhow, that's a big part of what I mean by Raw & Unedited. Another part is a maximum (more or less) of one cursory edit, during which I am a bit lazy and allow confusing sentences, weird structures, and errata to fly through. Think of the postings as Raw Data and you will have a better idea for my conception of the utility... some of it. There is a mixture. Also, I should note (somewhere), so this is as good as anywhere, I hope to segregate types into different folders. Dreams into a dream folder. These Mission Statements and other Front Matter into a mission folder. And so on, down the line. But multitude of folders becomes unwieldy. So, I would hope I could be able to come up with a short dozen: dreams notes magazine: for the magazine project And already, I am drawing a blank. I suppose to start, since I plan on dropping my dream notes into this spur, it makes sense to have a dedicated folder for them. But making too many dedicated folders is problematic... and is a good way to ensure most of those folders are nearly empty, which is not good folder discipline. Anyway, moving on. After all, this file is just a conceptual expansion of a rather short Bullet Item List. So, I think I have covered it. (c) Copyright Brett Paufler 2020-05-27
