Antarctica Replay Same Map 2021-01-19 (c) Copyright Brett Paufler # # # # # # I'm just going to Replay The Same Map. I have no interest in Military Conquest. So, there is no need to build up an army... until that is what I desire to do. # # # 2021-01-19 500BC T300 I will get all The Religions, save Hinduism, which Gandhi got. I will get all The Wonders. I am the clear Tech Leader. I will think about getting my second City after I land Islam. Right now, I have my eye on the Building Site to the South and in the Far East Islands. Economics grants Colonists, which are super nice, as any City they Found comes with a Granary, a Courthouse, a Religion (which seems to be random, but maybe it's based on the tile), a Worker, and a Scout, which in the later stages of The Game can be upgraded to a Calvary Unit. Still, Economics is a long way off. The Vikings are Attacking, launching an Amphibious Invasion. But to no avail. # # # 2021-01-19 60AD T356 I do believe that is enough on the day. My competitors seem to be keeping up better Tech Wise this game. Though, that might just mean I Researched in a different order, allowing them to seem closer. In order to insure I got The Hanging Gardens, I switched to Construction before I otherwise would have. I beat Orange to The Southern Building Site. He only Built one Galley. If he had landed his forces in mass, he might have succeeded in taking over The Barbarian City. As it was, The Barbarians, became Celts, converting their Archers to Warriors, making my job all that much easier. Actually, my lead is probably just as good as last time... or not. Hey, there is a big block of us Buddhists. So, there's a fair bit of peace. # # # 2021-01-19 430AD T393 I like The Early Turns better. I am going to have to be careful and play in such a way that The Game remains fun for longer. I would like to run out The Tech Tree. I just made A Deal to Isabella: Ivory for 23 Gold It cut the time to Build a Wonder in half, which I will value at 230 Gold {as I will be cancelling This Deal in 10 Turns}. I'm running Free Religion, which may be a mistake. But it's in preparation for The Late Game. {Revolution Mechanic Solved: Don't Whip Pay Gold when requested} # # # 2021-01-19 500AD T400 I played a few more Turns. Victory is assured... or so, I will claim. But The AI seems to be doing a better job this time around. I have Three Cities. I don't know where I want the fourth to go. # # # 2021-01-20 750AD T450 I enjoyed the spree. And I got up early to play... or got up early and played. But I can't say much happened over the course of the last 50 Turns. I am too Powerful to Attack. And I don't feel like Attacking... yet. The Game would heartily disagree with my personal assessment. But then, so far it's not tried. And if it did, it would fail... or would need larger stacks than I've seen. Eh, maybe I should check out the stack situation. Yeah, I'm not seeing stacks of the required size. I'm sitting pretty. # # # 2021-01-20 1095AD T519 Fatal Flaw! The Game Repeatedly Crashes! So, end of the line. I was having fun and just starting to war. I do not know what went wrong. I am inclined to believe it has something to do with the Revolution Mechanic, as it happened on The Roll. {Also, in later Games, I tried to keep the number of Enemy Civilizations limited. I've got a hunch things go haywire when the list of Civilizations gets too long and goes off-screen.} # # #
