It is not great steak. But it is good steak.
And my preparation was simple enough:
- ¾ Stick Butter
- Because that seemed about right.
- Melted in a Cast Iron Pan
- Because that's how Steak is done right.
- Brought to Temperature
- One does not want to burn the butter.
- But then, the hotter the better.
- Frozen Corn In Pot
- With a touch of Water.
- On High!
- Both were done at the same time.
- I will call it an Act of Providence.
- The Drippings from the Steak Buttered the Corn
