Raisin Oatmeal Cookies

½ Stick Butter
1 Cup Brown Sugar
¼ Cup Molasses

2 Eggs

Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Ground Ginger

½ Cup Flour
2 Cups Oats
1 Cup Raisins

Sprinkling of Salt


I could not tell you how much Spice I used. Not much. Under a teaspoon of Cinnamon and decidedly less of the other two.

The breaks in the above ingredient list indicate moments where I mixed the batter.

I spread the lot out into a Well-Buttered Oversized Glass Baking Sheet and sprinkled the top with Salt: a step which is very important.

25 minutes at 350°

I preheated the oven for a change. And as per usual, I let the cookies (or pan of bar goods) cool in the oven after I turned off the heat.



A little tough.
A little chewy.
But very tasty.
